so as me and kev are getting ready for the concert i show the shirt i'm wearing (which is this shirt minus the pink). so i ask kev, i go "yo Kev wut do you think Jay would say if he saw me in this shirt?" . he was like " man he would like where is my money off that shirt". we were joking but i got a lil nervous. i have an over active imagination and i just saw mr. carter looking at the shirt and dispatching a legion of body guards who would surround me like ninjas and i would have to fight my way out like a samurai and right when i thought i was done i would have to fight sum sorta boss just to emerge with my shirt intact. so with that in fight sequence in mind i get dressed jus a lil nervous.
off the top lets get this out. JAY-Z DOES A GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!!!!! like there is really no need 4 spending a lot of time on it. plus i got a couple videos that can kinda attest to that. i mean it was good. j.cole made an appearance. pharrell came out too. those were the highs. there were lows i.e. memphis "weak". but fareal it was good. like realllllly good. but i am a self centered person and the highest point involves me personally. so i am not a true jay-z head. so i was not aware that he spends part of his show giving the crowd shout-outs from stage. so when he started pointing and calling randoms out i was rather confused. needless to say he gave me a shout-out for my shirt. the video proves it..... ..... " o thats fiya" he says @ 46 secs in ....thats for me. now i may have sum skeptics that may go " that statement wasn't directed at you Gee". to them i say nay nay. lets go back to december of 2007. jay-z "graces the cover of XXL with this pic.
nuff said. and with all this happening on one night i can't tell you what the apex of the night was, but i can fashow say it was the greatest concert i have been to to date.
